STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
Demonstrating exceptional creative and strategic leadership, Jeniel overhauled the engagement strategy for the $1.2B Corona USA account. By pioneering a streamlined reactive process, he reduced the ideation-to-content creation time and standardized community management guidelines across all social channels. His efforts in detailed reporting and data analysis provided actionable insights that optimized content strategies, enhancing brand visibility and engagement. Some of his successful creative contributions to the account included briefs for campaigns like ‘Shoot Your Shot with Jayson Tatum,’ Engagement copywriting with celebrity ambassadors Karol G and Pedro Pascal, and live social media activations for marquee events, such as the 2024 Super Bowl.
The Strategy Behind the Scenes
As part of his career growth at Movement Strategy, Jeniel was tasked with providing strategic counsel on various projects, including an engagement action plan for an Amazon Studios social playbook, contributing to business pitches for cultural campaigns like Prime Video’s 2023 Black History Month campaign, and weekly content briefings for creative ideation on the Adult Swim account, which resulted in a Webby for its 2023 Social TV, Film & Entertainment Award, and 2023 Shorty Silver Award for Instagram Presence. Whether they were reactive or evergreen, created from his creative briefings or developed by himself, Jeniel was the mind behind high-performing social pieces on the pages for accounts like, Rick & Morty, Adult Swim and Below Deck. Those pieces of content were shared with a collective audience of over 9MM and garnered an average of over 100K engagements.
PRIME VIDEO SOCIAL INTERACTIONS
While managing the social pages for Prime Video, Jeniel sourced brand interactions with fans, media and notable brand talent, with some responses leading to over 16K engagements. As a result, some of these engagements helped develop the content strategy around talent prior to the release of their titles. By drafting copy that aligned with the brand’s persona and tone of voice, he presented Prime Video as a culture connoisseur, building brand affinity.

ENGAGEMENT CAMPAIGN
During a month-long campaign for Netflix’s Unsolved Mystery: Volume 3, Jeniel drafted and published over 500 engagements. Some of those interactions drove users to submit tips and stories, which was a priority goal for the client. A list of those engagements can be found HERE.
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT EXTRAS
During his time at Movement Strategy, Jeniel worked across eight accounts (e.g.; Amazon Studios, Showtime, Below Deck, Project Runway, Outlander, Seal Team, Dave the Banking app, etc.) as an Engagement Specialist and then Community Manager. Some of those engagement highlights include celebrity integrations with priority talent, like Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, David Boreanaz and Christian Siriano.
TABASCO Brand's Social Account Management
From 2018-2021, Jeniel was responsible for drafting monthly content calendars, ideating around social food trends and branded recipes. He worked with the creative department at Hunter and hired influencers to develop asset around his concepts. Throughout that time, he also developed concepts around brand-related news and trends and mentions from notable public figures. Samples of that content can be found HERE.
SOCIAL CONTENT EXTRAS
During the early days of his social media career, Jeniel managed the daily circulation of digital content across a variety of platforms for several brands, enhancing their social pages with his copywriting, creative ideating and partnership coordination. These accounts vary from Domino magazine, Mrs. T’s Pierogies and Cans Get You Cooking.
WRITING BACKGROUND
Before going into social media marketing, Jeniel took editorial internships at InStyle and Celebuzz, publishing over 30 long-form articles. He also was a writer and editor at his university’s newspaper and magazine, The Pioneer and The Bottom Line, and ran his own blog during his senior year, Hipthusiast.
